As the sleeping/living/working areas are all under one roof, residents have exclusive use of the studio. Heriot Toun Studio can sleep upto four people, two in a twin bedded room and two on a sofa bed in the living area.
The twin bedded room has shelves and drawers for storage as well as hanging space. There is a hifi and a hairdryer and reading lights above the beds. The shower room/toilet is immediately adjacent to the bedroom.
There is a well equipped kitchen with hob/oven and fridge. (please see below for full list of equipment.)The sitting area has comfortable seats, wood burning stove, bookcase, hi-fi/radio, reading lights and a table for eating /reading/writing. The eco-friendly studio has geothermal heating and sheeps wool insulation throughout.



There is a timber deck immediately outside the working area of the studio which could be used for poetry readings, yoga, music, relaxing, eating drinking. There is also a campfire area and bbq
