ACCOMMODATION AT HERIOT TOUN STUDIO

Our award winning self-catering studio can sleep up to four people. It has a bedroom, shower room, galley kitchen and a sitting area with wood burning stove. The 40m2 work area is spacious and brightly lit with north facing rooflights glass doors overlooking the Heriot valley.

View of Heriot Toun Studio in winterAs the sleeping/living/working areas are all under one roof, residents have exclusive use of the studio. Heriot Toun Studio can sleep up to four people, two in a twin bedded room and two on a sofa bed in the living area. (Bed linen is provided)

The twin bedded room has shelves and drawers for storage as well as hanging space. There is a hifi and a hairdryer and reading lights above the beds. The shower room/toilet is immediately adjacent to the bedroom.

There is a well equipped kitchen with hob/oven and fridge.(see list below for details)

The sitting area has comfortable seats, wood burning stove, bookcase with books and magazines, cd player/radio, 15" dvd player,reading lights and a table for eating /reading/writing.

There is signal for mobiles and there's also a landline with an honesty box.

The eco-friendly studio has geothermal heating and sheeps wool insulation throughout and is so cosy that the stove is rarely needed.

There is a timber deck immediately outside the working area of the studio which could be used for poetry readings, yoga, music, relaxing, eating drinking. There is also a campfire area and bbq but please byo charcoal..

  • Cups and tumblers for 20
  • Dinner plates, bowls, small plates for 8
  • Set of cutlery for 8
  • Teapot, 2 cafetiere's, milk frother
  • Pots and pans
  • Large bowls for salad etc.
  • Corkscrew
  • Multi-purpose cleaner
  • Washing up brush/cloths
  • Tea towels
  • There is a bbq for the campfire area, please bring your own charcoal
  • Hand and bath towels are provided in the bathroom
  • Bed linen is provided.
  • Two bicycle's are available to borrow, please let us know if you'd like us to leave them out.
