Essence Press - publishes 'island', a beautiful biannual literary magazine providing a distinctive space for new writing, inspired by nature and exploring our place within the natural world.

Galloway Publishing - A small, independant publisher based in the harbour town of Kirkcudbright. An imprint of Glen Murray Publishing. Their first book is Haig Gordon's 'Tales of the Kirkcudbright Artist' July 2006. Heriot Toun has the first copy.
