words for winter 2010/ 2011

Coracles

There's something so utterly rediculous about a coracle that makes it fascinating. It is hugely unsafe, unsteerable, travels at slower than walking pace and would break every European safety law on boats ever drafted. And yet, we have been making them for more than two thousand years.

My theory is that they have survived because when you are in them you have no option but to smile.
